Chelsea Cornet signs contract extension

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that Chelsea Cornet have signed a contract extension.

The 24-year-old midfielder will remain in Light Blue for the 2022/23 season as Malky Thomson’s side prepare for an exciting campaign.

Cornet joined Hibernian Rangers in January 2020 and showed his quality, strength and determination in midfield.

On signing her new contract, she said: “I am delighted to complete the deal, the club is huge and the ambitions within the club are also huge and to be a part of it is phenomenal.

“I’ve cherished every moment so far, it’s been amazing to be a Ranger. My teammates, the staff, everyone around the club are amazing and I can’t wait for the season to come.”

“She trains incredibly hard and strives to keep improving and we see the benefits of that with her consistent and impressive performances on the pitch.
