The Clanton Country Club Ladies Club held its first golf clinic on July 21.
Young golfers aged 7 to 11 participated in the morning session. The afternoon participants were aged between 12 and 15 years old. The clinic consisted of practice on the driving range, putting and general golf etiquette.
The instruction was given by David Peine, certified golf instructor at Ashway Golf.
Lunch and snacks were provided and all attendees received a t-shirt, backpack, practice balls and other goodies.
