Liverpool rumored to ‘reject Man United’ before picking next club

Karim Adeyemi’s agent claims Manchester United wanted to sign his client before the Red Bull Salzburg star decided to move to Borussia Dortmund instead.

The 20-year-old striker has made a huge impact in the Austrian league this season, scoring 23 goals and has reportedly interested Liverpool as well as several other top European clubs.

But the exciting young German, following in the footsteps of Erling Haaland, looks set to continue his rise with Dortmund in the Bundesliga as Haaland finalizes his move to Manchester City.

Adeyemi’s agent Thomas Solomon has claimed the Red Devils have made solid inquiries but appear set to miss out on another transfer target.

Solomon told journalist Fabrizio Romano: “We are now close to completing the deal with Borussia Dortmund. There will be no release clause included in his five-year contract.

“Rangnick? Yes, Manchester United wanted to enter the race – but we want BVB.”

There has also been plenty of speculation that United are keen to bring Haaland to Old Trafford but will almost certainly see the Norwegian turn up for Manchester blue side next season instead.
