Sonali Phogat’s Latest Video Shows Her Dancing In Goa Club With 2 Defendants; brother rejects reports of MP Haryana Gopal Kanda’s involvement

New Delhi: A few days after the death of Sonali Phogat, actress and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a video surfaced showing her dancing with her two associates, who were charged in her death case.
In the video, seen by Times Now, Phogat is seen dancing with Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi, who had accompanied Phogat when he arrived in Goa on August 22. The two defendants had been named in the complaint filed by Phogat’s brother, Rinku Dhaka, on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Goa police arrested the duo in connection with their “murder” after the autopsy report said there were “multiple blunt force injuries” on their body. The police registered the case under Article 302 (murder) of the ICC against the two.

Phogat, who hailed from Hisar in Haryana and rose to fame on TikTok, was brought dead to St Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna in North Goa district on the morning of August 23.

Doctors had declared at first sight that she had died of a heart attack. However, the post-mortem report mentioned that there were “multiple blunt wounds” on his body.

“Cause of death due to the best of my knowledge and belief is reserved pending chemical analysis. Histopathological and serological reports of preserved tissues,” the report states. “However, there are several blunt force injuries to the body. Given the above, it is up to the investigator to determine the nature of the death,” he added.

Meanwhile, the name of Haryana MLA Gopal Kanda has also surfaced in the case of Phogat’s death. Asked about this, Rinku Dhaka, brother of Phogat dismissed the reports. “No, there is nothing like that,” he told reporters on Friday.

Dhaka had earlier alleged that shortly before his death, Phogat had spoken to his relatives. She seemed disturbed during the conversation and complained about her two colleagues, he claimed.

The actor’s mortal remains are being taken to his residence in Hisar and his last rites will be performed today.
