Transfer expert insists no Italian club can afford Juventus goal

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio questioned Juventus’ chances of winning the race for Dusan Vlahovic after claiming that even the Bianconeri cannot sign the Serbian striker from Serie A clubs.

Vlahovic has interests from all over Europe, Fiorentina and those around them should use it to their advantage.

Any potential suitor would not just pay huge transfer fees, they would also pay a lot of money in commissions to middlemen.

It would likely be too much for clubs in Italy, including Juve who have only recently signed players under loan-to-buy deals.

He said, quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:

“Fiorentina discusses primarily with Arsenal, but the player is not interested in this solution. The operation is however very complicated for Juventus. In addition to the high price of the player, there would also be the commissions charged by the agent. No Italian club, not even the Bianconeri, can afford these numbers.

Juve FC says

Vlahovic would be a hot property anytime he finally leaves La Viola.

Next summer would be huge for Juve, who still have to pay Fiorentina for the final transfer of Federico Chiesa.

The Florence club don’t like selling players to Juventus so if the Bianconeri insist on signing him they should be prepared to pay the required fees.
